About the Talent Search
God Given Talent (GGT) is a Christian talent search for middle school to high school students to showcase their God-given talents. Any student who attends public, private, or home school may audition to be discovered in this talent competition open to the entire state of New Mexico.
MISSION
To seek and find the future lead worshipers of the next generation to apply their God-given talents for His Glory!
The talents presented must be Christian in nature.
We are looking for talent in vocals, praise teams, instrumentalists, praise bands, Christian motivators/speakers, visual artists, comedians—anything that glorifies our Lord Jesus Christ!
SUBMIT ONLINE AUDITION
Those auditioning, whether as groups or as individuals, should prepare a three minute audition piece.

What do your donations pay for?
100% of your donations to God Given Talent are used to defray the costs of promoting and producing the talent show. The costs include cash awards to the top 3 winners, hiring experienced judges and M.C., publicity, printing, and audio/video technical services.

ONLINE AUDITION INFORMATION & GUIDELINES
For the 7th annual GGT (formerly ABQ God's Talent), we will be doing online auditions. These can be done on your cell phone or any device capable of saving videos and uploading them to YouTube. The talent you choose to present is up to you. It may be any kind of Christian talent you may wish to share. In the past, we have had skits, vocal solos, and vocal groups, small instrumental ensembles, piano soloists, comedians, praise teams, etc. Our only requirement is it must Glorify God.
- Contestants must be in middle school or high school (including accompanists).
- Contestant must be a resident of the state of New Mexico.
- Videos must be in a clear bright setting where judges can see clearly.
- Your video must have good audio.
- You may use a backing track if needed. Just make sure there is a good mix between you and the backing track.
- Your video must be in real-time without any editing.
- Upload your audition video to YouTube for submission.
- Your video will be due by Friday, March 28, 2025 (no exceptions)
No audition applications will be accepted after Friday, March 28, 2025
